We went on a Thai cooking course yesterday and learned how to cook loads of Thai dishes. They took us to a local market first to get all the fresh ingredients before we went to the cooking school. We could choose what we wanted to cook, 6 dishes each. I did Thai red currey and Lou did Thai green curry and then we did some soup, spring rolls, noodles and a dessert. We will have to try a few out when we get home but I bet they wont be as nice as the ones we did yesterday.
It was a bit nicer then what we ate the night before. We had a few drinks in a bar and met the Irish lad that we met on our first night away in Beijing. He knew some of the bar staff and they brought out some local delicacies for us to try. There were crickets, grasshoppers, butterfly larvae and some sort of grub. We tried a few each but only because we were drunk, it makes a change fom peanuts!
