Right been in Sydney for the past month and a half now... I love Sydney a lot, the people, the beaches, the sun and nightlife. After the initial struggle to find an apartment we managed to get one for long term backpackers, perfect for Jill and myself, about 10mins walk to Darling Hrabour. I am now working in a shop called Cupcake, a little boutique clothing shop, I love it, and am trying so hard not to buy anything! So far so good!

As I only have a month left here and I am now key holder to the shop, working full time I have a list of things I want to do and am trying to get them done before i head to New Zealand... We were lucky enough to be here for the beginning of the Sydney Festival, photos are up on the blog i think! It was so much fun, 10 stages set up all over the CBD, we met up with Roz a friend from uni, who both Jill and I hve not seen in years! We drank quite a lot of wine and danced the night away! it was a brilliant night, an excellent atmosphere, some terrible dancing from the men of the city and an interesting trip home!

We have started the list of places to go to, we went to Paddington Market, Manly beach, Bondi beach and are planning to go to see some of the theatre and performances for the Sydney festival and out door cinema in the botanical gardens. I am so excited about possibly seeing Reggie Watts, a guy Peggy loves and we have seen perform quite a few time in Leeds. He is performing in Sydney and we are going to try and get some alst minute tickets! Also plan to do to the Hunter Valley and Blue Mountains. Nothing very exciting to report on, after the non stop 4months, I feel that this blog is rather boring! I will try and have some more interesting news in the next one!
