Right I am so behind it is not even funny! Will try and rack my brain to remember the past few weeks as so much has happened, even Christmas! Right after Brisbane we headed to Byron Bay, a town lots of people have recommened, basically a crazy hippy place with a great beach! We stayed at a place called the Arts Factory, at the desk checking in, pay our key deposit, ask for the key. No key a little confused, until we saw the place we were staying in, known as the wagoon, a huge tent thing! Why we paid a key deposit I know not why! The place was not that bad, I like the outdoors so thats ok, Jill had a bit of a break down with a few spiders and a big bee thing, luckly there were some boys at hand to help!
There were lots of things going on in the Art Factory itself. We went on a bush tucker walk, we looked at plants and other cool stuff, with the guidence of one of the funniest people I think I have ever met called Cookburra (Slightly wild, different individual) he made fire and showed us how to throw a spear. That night we had a quiz night, not doing so well throughout we got the i phone and started Googling answers, even with the little cheating we didn't win! I decided that i would do a massage course at the place, just because i wanted to get into the whole hippy vibe, so signed up with this very relaxed hippy (hairy armpitts and nudist, in her own home) and went the next day! It was a good experience and I am hoping to use it to work in Sydney for the 3 minute angels, who go into offices and night clubs and give a 3 minute neck and shoulder massage! COuld be good, when my foot is better! Still on crutches!
That evening we thought it best that we hit the town, both day and night! We went to the shops on a bit of a girlie day out, a lovely change every now and then! Bought a few things (not too many mum don't worry) and then went to a place called Cheeky Monkeys, we drank a lot lost a few people, Jo managed to get taken home in a fire engine, i however got much crutches stolen in the club while dancing on a table! nice!
The next day we all decided that we should go and see the light house, singing the theme tune to "Round the Twist" so have now been to the most easterly point in Australia, something to say I suppose! Had a few to drink that night, I ended up talking to a very mixed group, didnt have a clue what I was saying until the next day when i bumped into a girl in the bathroom, who asked me if I had been outside here tent last night, as they could hear everything i was saying, who ever said i was loud Oops, head low for the rest of the day. Anyway we ended up staying for quite a while in Byron Bay and I loved it there. next desitination Sydney! I couldnt wait!
