Thursday morning we took the public bus to Sihanoukville where we arrived at 2pm to find that we were staying in bungalows a few minutes walk away from the beach. We spent the afternoon on the beach and then had a bbq dinner on the beach where we had a power cut half way through the evening and a massive storm hit the beach. We had some drinks whilst our tour leader played his guitar, we went for a paddle and found a coconut floating in the sea. The next morning catherine woke up ill again! so I went out on the boat trip for the day to 3 islands nearby. We stopped to snorkel in two different areas and then stopped on one of the islands for a bbq lunch which included some baracuda which i ended up feeding most of to a hungry cat that came to pester us whilst we ate. Having returned to the hotel to find catherine still ill we ate dinner on our own at the hotel restaurant and got an early night. There was another massive thunderstorm that night and some fireworks were going off which kept us up most of the night. The next morning we were up early to catch the bus to the cambodian vietnam border.
