Today we caught the train to Barcelona in Spain it took just over 6 hours and one train swap. The first train went 350km/hr very fast and it was really smooth I slept the first two hours the seats were comfy we were in first class ( that's what we had to buy with our pass, but it was nice) Brett was hoping they bought food around to us, but I had to break it to him it wasn't like a plane and you had to go to the food cart in the middle and pay for it if he wanted anything. We watched some movies and I have been down loading the new episodes of Offspring to keep me and entertained and trying not to laugh out loud to much (Ash I still want to have a Offspring weekend when I return:) .
When we arrived we caught the train to our hostel and again we found it pretty easy, we were able to book a double room in a hostel which means we have a kitchen and we can cook again yah. We definitely get sick of eating out after a few days. We had a looks around our area and had a late lunch at 3 pm we had some nice tapas and a selection of meats the man suggested it came out on a hot coal plate it had a huge chunk of steak, lamb, chorizo saugages, 2 black sausages he said it was pork tendons ( as soon as i saw it i didnt like the look of it and when he said they were tendons i really didn't want to try them) they looked awful Brett tried it and said it tasted like pork mince, he finally convinced me to try some I did and I wasn't sure of it. We got the bill expecting to pay €50 -$69but instead was €23 -$32 we paid and left, we think they charged us for another couples table, we just walked faster. Whoops naughty us. Every thing seems to be overpriced but it is much cheaper here then in France. After our delicious and cheap lunch we caught the train to the beach front where we strolled a long the front the breeze had picked up and the water looked choppy, people were still swimming we felt the water but it was like ice. We sat and people watched and took in the scenery before we headed back to our hostel. We got some groceries on the way home and bought some cheap beach towel for the beach tomorrow.
Health status: cough has returned, bought some more cough syrup.
We over heard a American lady who got on the train today say after I coughed that's a Paris cough lol I thought to my self no it's a London cough.
