Yesterday we went to the big Train station to book out tickets for our next stop, we had to wait a while in line the guy was young and spoke good english which was great for us, (it's been a little hard with all the French but most people talk some English so you can get by) we tried to book our ticket to san Sebestian on the 17th June but all trains booked for all 3 trains and even the night before. So we decided to not go there and book straight to Barcelona we are having 4 nights there and then heading off to Nice we booked the next few train trips as all the trains are nearly full and we did not want to miss out on some where again. It was crazy we have a train pass but you still have to pay as reservation fee so for 4 train trips the reservation fee was $260 Aud we thought that was crazy when we paid $2000 for the train pass hopefully it will be worth it. So after all that fun we went it Montmartre where the moulin rouge is and we had a look around and had some lunch and a coffee we then did a walking tour which was suppose to be 1.5 hours but the guy loved to talk so it took 2.5 hours. The guy that took the tour was French little hard to understand his english, he was funny and really loved the area he spoke about the history and showed us a few monuments and a church at the top of the hill and the view of the city, you could see the Eiffel Tower so pretty. We headed down the millions of steps and headed home to get ready to head back to watch the moulin rouge.
We arrived back at the theatre was very busy and every one was packed in like sardines, we had a Aussie couple sitting at our table who we chatted with. The show was good lots of singing in French, dancing , boobs, g strings and the can can. They had a few acts in between the show which were awesome and funny. After the show we took some pictures outside then headed to Eiffel Tower to see it at night, on one side they have lots of different coloured lights and the other just normal light and on the hour it sparkles for 5mins I think its prettier at night then in day. We laid and starred at it for awhile it was a Saturday night so there was lots of drunk people in the park enjoying the Eiffel Tower.
Today we did some more walking and have spent a good while just sitting in the park looking at the Eiffel Tower we have an early train to Barcelona in the morning :)
