We woke to find a cloudy day so we were so happy we went to the beach yesterday but as the day went on it turned into another beautiful hot day. We caught the train to La Rambla which is a big street which is popular it has lots of shops on it, street performers and markets with fresh seafood, meats, fruits and veg. We then strolled over to the marina where there were lots of big flash boats in, we dreamed for a little while imagined we owned one but then we woke up. We then went to Bacelonnete beach which is the beach in the touristy area, there were lots of people around and it looked so beautiful and blue we had some tapas and Sangria on the beach in a nice little restaurant and then headed of to meet our next walking tour.
This tour was a modernism tour about the modern parts of Spain and about three architects. But one in particular Gaudi who built three amazing building which we saw, the first two was houses and the third was a massive church called Sagrada Família which is all dedicated to god with sculptures all on the outside. Gaudi started it 1882 and never finished it and construction is still going on they estimate it will finish in 2026.
Tonight we got to go and see flamingo dancing ( flamenco dancing ) and have a tapas and sangria dinner. The dancing and music was really good it went for 30 mins and then we walked to a restaurant on the water and tried different Tapas, we got to meet a few people from USA and South Africa which was fun.
