Today we set off to Berlin we are for 4 nights which will be nice as we have had a week of moving around. We caught the train it was probably our worst train trip yet. ( except for what happened to me yesterday ) We caught it from Dresden and it was 25mins late arriving which was fine, it then sat at the station for about 40 minutes for some reason, then there were heaps of stops along the way, it turned a 2hour trip into 4 hours, then they told everyone to get off at a station which wasnt the one we were supposed to get off at, so we then had to catch another local train closer to the city. We thought German train would have been the most effecient, but couldnt have been more wrong. Also we thought Germany would have more things in English but we are finding its much less than other places most menus are all in German which makes it a little hard. Except Brett has been telling me our whole trip that he knows German from back at school and practicing his German and trying to translate to me in other countries when they talk German, but i knew he knows a few words and that's about it. So finally today he admits he does not know much/ any German. Hehe knew it. We spent the night looking around our hotel area which is quiet close to the river and a shopping/ eating area, we had some bratwurst, beer and icecream after all that I think I need to walk more.
