Today started with Case getting up early to go to the hotel gym. Madness. Then down to the restaurant for a buffet breakfast (also included), which thankfully was a lot less fancy than our dinner last night!

Then it was off to explore the ski slopes. We made our way across the road to the gondolas, where Case was locked in before she realised just how high off the ground they get! But after a few shaky moments at the start she realised the view was unbelievable and we both settled in to admire the scenery. About half way up we both stared to wonder if we'd bitten off more than we could chew. We didn't see any beginner slopes… So after a lap and embarrassing chat with some ski instructors, we were back in the gondolas heading for a ski school!

We managed to book straight in, so by early arvo we were on a much more civilised slope learning how to snow plough and proving to our instructor that we knew how to stop!

Lesson complete it was back to the room for two weary beginner skiers, then dinner (no fancy spam this time!) and now to bed.
