Today we checked out of our apartment in Interlaken and made the train journey to a little place called Grindelwald. We thought Interlaken was spectacular, but it has nothing on this place! Our hotel is right in the middle of town, giving us views of the town and the mountains behind and a gondola for one of the ski areas is literally across the road.

After checking in to our hotel we wandered around Grindelwald in the search for some ski gear. The deal we got with the hotel includes a 3 day ski pass, so we plan on making the most of it! As we found out, it certainly isn't cheap, but you don't come all the way to Switzerland in winter and not ski!

Once we had all our snow gear sorted it was back to the hotel for a 4 course dinner, which was also part if the deal we got. The dinner started with Case and I looking at each other very confused over what we were actually about to eat (very fancy, not really us!). Who knew spam could come with pistachio's in it?! It had some other fancy name, but we're both pretty sure that's what it was!

Wandered down to the 'wellness centre' after dinner to book in for an all over body massage, which we're both pretty sure we'll need after 3 days attempting to ski!
