Well, this is it - this is going to be my last entry from South America! Can't really believe it but its true, at 11pm tonight my time, we will be flying to New Zealand. Due to the length of the flight and the time difference, we won't get there until wednesday which is a bit bizarre but it will be worth it when we get there!! Its been a while since I last updated (sorry!) so this is probably going to be a bit of a mammoth entry....but there's lots to say!...

Well, this is my last entry from Punta Arenas....and I still don't have much to say! Since I last updated, we have only been on one trip, to the Seno Otway Penguin Colony, which was excellent. You go in the evening, and you get to see the penguins right up close because you can wander in among their burrows. There's a little walkway you follow around and you see some penguins there and there are also a couple of hides and towers that you can see them from - on...

So, here we are now, back in Chile, this time in Punta Arenas, still down in Patagonia. Since my last entry in El Calafate we have also been to Puerto Natales, which is the closest town to the Torres del Paine National Park, apparently one of the most spectacular sights in all of Latin America. Well, for the first time in over a month, we are no longer all together! Sarah and I are in Santiago in Chile, while Nikki is still in Buenos Aires. This is all to do with the type of tickets we have - Sarah and I are only allowed to fly with One World Alliance members, and unfortunately Aerolineas Argentinas is not one, so we've had to fly all the way over to Chile (and pay the departure tax!) just to fly back down to Argentina tomorrow!
