El Chalten is a small developing town purely catering for trekkers who come to see the infamous Fitz Roy mountain. We arrived in the pouring rain and freezing cold. The next day it snowed ALL DAY, -1 degrees and the day after, sleet. Hence the beautiful lakes and mountains we planned to trek were not to be seen.
