Well we thought we had already been to the most beautiful beaches in Brazil, but we were wrong. If you conjure up in your mind's eye your ideal image of a Caribbean beach. Doubtless it will be lined with palm trees, tranquil turquoise waters lapping up onto pristine white sand with hardly anyone else there, you think you´ve found paradise. Welcome to Tayrona National Park. Wow, wow and more wow, they are just stunning! We spent 2 nights and 3 days there sleeping in tents in a gorgeous campsite full of palm trees full of coconuts which meant we ate fresh coconuts every day, yummy. To get to the campsite you have to walk 5km through lush jungle and each day we walked about half an hour through jungle and along empty, sandy beaches to reach our little paradise beach. It´s actually too hard to put in to words how beautiful it was so I´ll leave it to the photos.
