So it has been a while again but I am coming back to The Netherlands soon (whohoo, really looking forward to that )!
I went to London as I said I would. I finished my last class (unfortunately no marks known yet) and I am very busy with the consultancy project. I guess my time in China was more worth blogging about but sometimes I am able do have some fun.
So let's start with London that was great. I uploaded the pictures already a while ago so you can see that we had lovely weather. It was very nice to see my friend again and London is just a wonderful city. We both arrived on Friday evening and we moved to the hostel on Saturday morning. In the afternoon we did a walking tour in the city of London and on Sunday we did the Westminster walking tour in the morning. That was great and for me it brought up some nice memories from when I went to London in high school.
I also went Scuba Diving but wasn´t to great. Was amazing to be diving again but there was not a lot to see unfortunately. Some fish and a lot of starfish and crabshelfs.
The third of July René came to visit me for 12 days. We did not do that much as we both had quite a lot to do for our study. Nevertheless we went to the Zoo with my Dutch friend and his girlfriend which was also came over to visite and we planned to go to the Kilmainham goal but now in the high season it was unfortunately fully booked so we went to the Irish museum of modern art (I will upload some pictures). As I am a member of a board game group we went there and as that is in Ireland it is in a pub. So while playing some games we watched the game Brazil- Germany. There were not too many Brazilian supporters in the pub but though it was kind of funny to see them trying to make themselves invisible. And of course we watched the Dutch matches and the finales of the World Cup.
Next to all of that and studying I am very busy finding a job. Unfortunately without any success until now but just let's hope for the best, but if you know somewhere where they are looking for a master (WO) graduate in Logistics or Supply Chain that would always be welcome .
So what is going to happen in the last couple of weeks. On Friday I will already have a goodbye party of me very good (French) friends. On the first of July we need to have our consultancy project semi-finished for the company so they can check it and we have to do a poster presentation on the 14th (every constancy team will create a poster and all he company project supervisors will be present to see what other groups/ companies are doing). Leon is coming over and we have booked a day tour to Galway and Connemara and we will go to Cork for the weekend. On the 15th of August we have to be finished with everything and hand it in.
The 16th René is coming over again and we have rented a car until the 28th. We will make a road trip on the south coast of Ireland and my parents will join us for a couple of days as well. We will fly back the 28th of August so as from then I do not plan to leave The Netherlands again for a while (holidays not included).
See you all soon.
Hugs and Kisses
