I then travelled by bus to Kanchanaburi where i meet two American girls. We stayed on a floating guest house on the river Mae Nam Khwae, which was very peaceful after Bangkok. One day was spent at the Tiger Temple, where the monks adopt orphaned tigers. This was very disappointing as i only saw one monk and lots of cruel keepers
We then travelled on a packed local bus for over two hours to the Hell Pass Memorial museum. This was well worth the journey, the views of the mountains and the border of Burma were beautiful. A lot of walking was done following the original railbed.
I'm now back in horrible Bangkok waiting for Lauren to arrive tonight.
Still no bag (Never fly BA)
