We left Krabi and travelled to Railay by boat, where we stayed at Railay Bay Resort & Spa. One of the pools over looked the beach so we spent lots of time sun bathing and relaxing there. I loved Railay its so pretty and just how you imagine Thailand beaches to be white sand and clear water.
We spent one day rock climbing which was very scary and hard work in the hot sun. We also kayaked around to Phra Nang beach which was stunning. Louisa got to experience her first bucket in Railay which (they are sold all over the South) consists of a bottle of Thai whiskey, red bull (so strong its illegal in the UK) coke and lime. So many evenings were spent drinking cocktails and buckets.
On our last day we went trekking up to the view point, very hot but worth the climb. We then climbed through a bat cave in the dark as our guides touch ran out of batteries, i hated every minute as it was pitch black and you couldn't see were to climb. We then made it to the top of the cave, which had a fantastic view of the island but then we had to abseil down. This i also hated and couldn't wait to get down to the ground. I am never climbing or abseiling again!
