So after our first encounter with the overnight trains in India we arrived in Khajuraho. The train was an experience! Khajuraho is a quiet, green city. The home of several temples a lake and to the infamous Kama sutra. I read a bit of the Kama sutra book and couldn't actually believe the original text. It is quite surprising and not just to do with sex. There is a lot about relationships and what qualities you require in yourself and a partner.

We spent one night here in the jungle and went to the tiger safari in the early hours of the morning. We didn't get to see any tigers unfortunately, I think mainly down to the heat, but we did see monkeys, dear, crocodiles and a few other small animals which was great.

Arriving in Agra was crazy!! It is super busy with lots going on- lots of markets lots of people and even more animals! Every Friday the Taj Mahal is closed to tourists. We visited the Taj Mahal this morning (Saturday) at 6am to see the sunrise. The building was beautiful. It took 20 years to build and took 22,000 workers to complete. Arriving in Jaipur and it was nice to see some shops as hustle and bustle again after recent days! Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan and is home to the second most expensive hotel in the world. We have just got back to the hotel after experiencing an elephant ride up to Amber Fort. All the elephants were beautiful. Jaipur is also known as 'Pink city' and there is a 16km radius of pink houses!
