An hours flight from Bangkok and we arrived in the beautiful island on Koh Samui. Although a small beautiful island there is a 7/11 at every corner and hundreds of huge resorts. It is a real holiday destination which meant staying in a hostel and watching my money felt slightly surreal. Arriving in Thailand coming from India felt amazing! I didn't feel at risk of my life whilst the taxi driver took me to my hotel it was clean and quiet! Hotel was cheap and lovely!
