In Townsville, after driving through torrential rain for days we decided to take a dig out to the coast where we hear thefe was sun. Day 1 we did 4 loads laundry and hung on the line, dry in 2 hours. Day 2 we drove up to Paluma in the rain forest. Lovely walk out to a lookout where we ould see the islands Orpheus and Pearl. Yesterday we did down town and had lunch on the fabulous foreshore. Looking at Magnetic Island we decided to go out there Thursday. Heading for Atherton friday for the weekend. Very busy up here. We are in a Big 4 park with water park and jummpy pillow. Just what we need, not. It is humid as it rains every night so the ground is wet but days are nice and sunny. I have the fan on as I am hot. Shorts and singlets all the go.
