Here we are in Alice Springs. Had a free camp last night. Freezing cold 3 degrees.
After Uluru we went to Kings Canyon. A very long way to go out of our way but It was very nice. Sunset was disappointing. The ladies had G&T to celebrate. We did the short walk into the canyon, very nice. Found a beautiful pond.
Mr M quote of the day: I can see my volt meter from the caravan door.
Guess who questioned the local indigenous about their flower picking in Kings Canyon.
Mr B quote of the day: They have had the big shove/crane out again. Found a big hole called Henbury Crater. Too big to fit in picture.
Drove into Alice today, caravan parks are getting smaller and smaller. we barely fit our 15ft van into the sites. Did a shop while Mr B washed and cleaned the caravan. I almost kissed his cotton picking feet when I got back. The boys travelled 1600km to NT to be closer to the V8's. We watched them all roaring past us at great speed all week so they had to stop and watch it on TV.
Both boys are sitting in the tail gate of the truck looking at Flight Radar 34 comparing what is overhead. Apparently it is A380 Sydney to London non stop.
Sad isn't it what amuses the boys!!!!!!!!
