Left Broome, heading south, 80 mile beach is just that a long and beautiful beach and fabulous. lots and Lots of shells. Mrs M saw lots of baby turtles swimming in the shallows. Heard sharks lurking in the trough. Was a little windy so no swimming. Have had a ball collectting them. Mr B slept on the back of th e truck while I did a wander. We all needed a rest after the frenetic pace of Broome, trying to see all the sights.

Visited the Rock at sunrise this morning. Had to crawl out of bed at 6.00am freezing cold. Hundreds and hundreds at the viewing area. Realised sunset was the best view so back to van for late breakast gathered Mr & Mrs M and then back to visit the cultural centre do a base walk (short one) saw cave paintings. Left Cobber Pedy after a Mitchell Tour to the Serbian Underground church. It was fabulous. Well worth the visit. I was even able to go into it. Beautiful carvings and stained glass windows. Drove for 2 days to get here to Yulara. Had a free camp at Agnes Creek last night. no phone reception. Getting to like the free camps. Mr B road train spotting. All the V8's & Formulae3 heading for Darwin next weekend so we see the huge road trains with all the racing ...
