Wow - what a lovely sunset (too bad its from the last place) as Vientiae - the capital is horrible... temples and museums (of which I am all templed out of) its like an industrial city of nothing!

Luckily we are only here for 24 hours to pass through and depart tomorrow to go to Bangkok (more coaches and sleeper trains - YAY get me sleeper trains and toilet sqatting... I am ready for anything now ;) hee hee)...

the food here is either Western (burgers...pizza ...bagette sandwiches - which are actually quite nice) or like a bland version of Thai food... so after almost a week of Loas food and now the novelty of Western food has worn off... I really fancy sonme Chinese peking duck ;) ... the capital ...well it isnt london and after Vang Vieng its a bit unimpressive!

I must admit I am looking forward to Thailand now... hopefully I wont get bitten by so many insects as I have so many bites ... scapes and scratches (waterfall climbing - and rough terrain) and brusies I am looking forward to a bit of tannage adn recovery...hopefully!!
