My stay with 'The Malloys' I arrived Tuesday night at 10:30pm. Craig was waiting at the airport to pick me up and we headed straight home. Today we had a late start as the weather is so hot during the days and the days go until 9pm anyway so everything is still open. We first went to the glass blowing island Venice. We watched a demonstration of glass blowing there for €3. It was very interesting to watch and amazing to see the things they made from a blob of hot glass. Today we strolled through the streets of Venice. The heat here was nearly unbearable, it's the hottest place we have been yet as you can't escape the heat by going for a swim like we did in San Sebastian, Ibiza and Nice. The only thing you can do is go back to the airconditioned rooms. Our hostel is central on the island of Venice so we don't have to catch any public transport through the day. Transition day... Today we leave Nice and catch 3 trains to Venice. Our first train leaves at 1:30pm and we arrive in Venice at 10:30pm. The second train we were on today was the worst even though it was first class. We were on it for 4 hours. The air conditioning didn't work well at all, you could barely feel it and cause it was an airconditioned train it had very few windows.
