January 30th Our day in Belize was just as eventful. In the morning I wrote my math test while Ed Gene and Robby went for another morning drive. I was surprised to hear that I did very well on my test since I lost my study cards.
We all decided we wanted to go to the zoo. It was a fair drive but was completely worth it. The zoos atmosphere was very relaxed. Thus allowing you to get close with the animals. My favorite was the jaguar, because there are only 800 left in the world. The zoo allowed you to go into a cage in the jaguar's habitat and feed the jaguar. We did not participate but now I am regretting my decision. I saw many new animals such as the Tapir which is related to a Horse. I also saw and played with Ocelot, which is a Dwarf Leopard .
We went for dinner at a restaurant right on the ocean. It had great food just like all the other restaurants we have been to in Belize, because all their ingredients are grown right here. My new favorite drink is a pina coloda. At every restaurant we have been to they taste amazing. They are quite fattening but completely worth it. (Do not worry mom I get the non-alcoholic ones)
