Today we had a great day! We relaxed for a small part of the day.  Ed helped me catch up on my blog. He did a bang up job. Today we had an amusing day. First, we drove to the humane society again. I wanted more information on the Chihuahua, unfortunately, he cannot be adopted until March 21rst. We then drove to "Santa Maria Beach" to meet up with Burt and Elfie, who are long time friends of Ed. Today we woke up on time to go to the humane center and walk dogs. The humane center is a non-profit organization, which cares for many stray animals. When we arrived at the facility, it was impressive. It was incredibly well run, it was sanitary, the employees treated the dogs extremely well, and the dogs were exercised twice a day. Today, we got caught up on homework. It was nice to be semi- ahead of the game. We took a break and went to the pool. It is amazing to see how much the resort has been damaged by the hurricane as a large percentage of beachfront is washed away. That evening we went out to dinner, the restaurant was named "Lapa Lapa" the food was excellent and they had live music. Today we dropped Billy off at the airport. It was a depressing goodbye since we all did not want him to leave. After dropping Billy off, we all tried to barter down, the staff at the car rental place, with very little success. We rented a car for the reason that we do not want to drive the truck and risk damaging it more.
