Morning came late for Grace and I, sleep has been a luxury that we haven't been able to find lately and I really did not want to get up, almost 4000 Km of driving in a week will do that to you LOL ;)
Jeff and Dana had been up since 5:30 AM and had got through their laundry and breakfast already, we scrambled to get our day going and at noon we headed for Bearizona, a wild animal reserve that you drive your vehicle through learning about the local animal species and habitats from a GPS radio unit they give you (unless you're Jeff who apparantly did not get one on the way in). As you approach the exhibit the GPS gets a feed from the satelite and an announcer explains the animal exhibit you are driving through.
It really was an amazing place and a worthwhile stop if you find yourself in this area of the world. After Bearizona we heaed into the town of Williams along - ROUTE 66 - the road travelled by people moving West during the great depression in the 1930's.
After shopping there we came back to the campground and prepped dinner, and after that the kids hit the pool while we relaxed and cleaned up a bit.
TOMORROW THE GRAND CANYON !!!!
