Finally we made it to the GRAND CANYON !! and boy the name certainly fits well !! We were picked up by our guide Jason from All Star Grand Canyon Tours at about 8:30 and we headed towards the canyon, Jason was a very imformative guide and seemed to know a lot about the area, even though he was a recent transplant from Colorado. OK I know that I said we were going to the Grand Canyon today, but we couldn't get a tour operator for the day, so we booked one for tomorrow and went to see London Bridge at Lake Havasu AZ instead. For those that are interested, Lake Havasu was the lake used for that horrible B movie... Piranha 3D. Morning came and we were glad that the Sun hadn't began cooking yet, we started dismanteling the "campsite", and no the slide still wouldn't pull in electrically, packed up and ready to go, Jeff pulled his truck up to his trailer hitch and tried to lower his trailer onto the hitch ball.
