Mississippi river / Wisconsin / Minnesota

So the road trip with the 3 of us began. We didn't get very far, due to the lack of functioning brain cells and the need to get out of the car, after 4 hours of driving we found Black Hawk Park campground. It was a beautiful camp, right along the Mississippi river. Home for 2 nights. The heat was something else. We have never been in such humid temperatures; just being stationary resulted in liters of sweat pouring off you. It was a perfect set up to help recover from 2 hectic nights in Madison. The Mississippi River is large, brown and not as picturesque as we thought. Am sure some parts are, but we weren't in those parts. We packed up and headed for the Badlands of South Dakota.
