Our hearts stopped when we heard the immigration official pulling on the latex gloves at border control. … "which on of you is Hayley Morrow?" came next…..my grubby little finger went up as I identified myself, to be told that his computer has recognized me to be an offender and I am to pls state my crime……oakes bricked themselves - I attempted to cross the boarder 18yrs ago without a visa (because I didn't know you needed one when trying to cross the bridge at Niagara Falls…doh) and was promptly denied entry into the country. So now I'm permanently on their system as an offender…. We were ushered into a separate area where offenders go, and was further questioned before they finally let me in. There we were freaking out that Boo wouldn't be allowed in cos she has no ties in the US and it's me that nearly got us thrown in jail….. Canada here we come! The falls from the Canadian side is way better than seeing it from the US side - you get to see the entire "horseshoe" falls straight on, instead of from the side. Niagara Falls done - awesome to see.
