We are still here at Hervey Bay and have enjoyed a couple of lazy weeks. The weather has been a bit "hit and miss" but today the sun is hot and the wind has dropped.
We have enjoyed settling into our new little home and now we are on our own, finding out how much of all this stuff we brought with us we do really need! We managed to cook ourselves our first baked dinner and were pleased with our effort, even the Yorkshire puds were a success.
We have found the people on our trip all very friendly and helpful.
To the elderly lady in Aldi, thank you for making me appreciate the moment when you asked if I wanted to go before you in the queue as I only had a couple of items. I said yes but then changed my mind as for once, I was not in a hurry. That moment came early on in the trip and set me up in a good mind space for what is to come.
To the fella who made our bracket for the caravan/bike rack and the guy in Harvey Norman's who helped me with this blog, great customer service!
We will be leaving here on Saturday, if our EBay shopping arrives at A/Post by then, (we have faith) Next stop, somewhere just up from Bundaberg, turning the page in our next life's journey.
