Here we go again!
I'm restarting this blog on what I hope is a more user friendly site. As I didn't get very far with our other blog, we haven't missed much.
After leaving Sydney in the dead of night with only one neighbour to see us off, we made it to Tweed Heads in good time.
We have spent the first 6 weeks of this trip catching up with family and friends having a great time and without having to think about work or on a time limit, it is the best feeling.
Phil was determined to get us to climb Mount Warning and so at the first opportunity, we were off. A 9k round trip with a chain to help us at the top. I'm glad I managed the climb but I don't think I will be in a hurry to do it again. But never say never.
Chris managed to keep himself busy helping my brother while I was able to spend a lot of time with my mum, something that I haven't done for a long time. Then, evenings and weekends we caught up with the rest of the family, of which there are a lot.
After leaving Tweed our last family was at Noosa where we stayed with Simon, Kerry, Harry and Yasmin, and not forgetting Justin. We had a great time playing with the kids and although the weather has been pretty wet, we made the most of it and even went bike riding.
We enjoyed that experience so much we have fixed a bike rack on the back of the caravan, and are now awaiting the arrival of Pat and Banjo (the bikes) to join Walt and Tilly (car and caravan) on our adventure.

Now I have found this sight I think I will continue with it, so till my next effort, Take care.
