Walked up the hill to look down over that magnificent vista towards the water.
And then caught a taxi to the Hotel Do Chiado.
This is magnificent!
Lovely people on reception.
We chatted and chatted and they upgraded my room to one with a castle view and view over Lisbon, down to the water.
Then if I turn left ....
There's the Santa Costa Elevator!
I'm in 614.
Shot up to the 7th floor to the rooftop bar.
Wow!
What views!
(Same as my room really ... just spectacular!)
Booked a table for 7pm ...
Then walked out the door of the hotel, turned right, took 30 steps, turned right again and straight into the huge shopping centre.
That's the one that the Santa Justa Elevator opens to.
Had McDonalds.
I was starving.
Didn't want to think.
So, quick, feed me.
Had a look in the Shopping Centre and exited rather quickly.
Didn't want to shop.
Back to the room.
I am very tired today.
Was rather a big night last night on top of all the other late nights and busy days.
So back to the room for a nap.

What a wonderful experience at Fatima.I know what you mean about the vista, magnificent indeed. ~~* YAY *~~ How good is that at your new hotel – an upgrade!! Well done. Balcony, castle view and view over Lisboa all the way to the water, pays to chat. Great location (google is my friend) …………and a rooftop bar on the 7th floor, great views to enjoy with a drink, it will be different at night and each time you go.
