Taking 'The Zeus Palace' to Venice.
I love the ship but others are telling me it's no Palace.
(I just think they don't know how to play.)

It's wonderful!
I have wandered the decks.... Checked out the wonderful horizon... Watched the magnificent bridge disappear from sight... Been amazed at the tent set up on deck by backpackers.... almost tripped over 2 big dogs in the corridor by my room (They travel by ship twice a year back and forth to Greece... Seasoned travellers)

We are on the ship till 5pm tonight.
Then a huge drive to Venice ... Arrive about 11pm.
Wow!

We arrived at the ship about 4pm. Joined a very big queue to board... Then another room to myself... Case on one, me on another
Love it.
A La Carte dinner for only our tour.
Wonderful meal.
Then I went to bed...I was bushed.
There was a bit of a roll on the boat so walking to my room was funny.
Slept straight through till the alarm at 7.15.... thought 'That's rubbish.' ....Reset it for 7.50am....then off for A La Carte breakfast....omlette, fruit.... Lots of stuff. ..
Very sophisticated traveller, me.
Wandered the deck again
Had a great night sleep.

So then I joined a small group from our tour.

Now this is really only for me so you can skip it if you like.

What a bunch of sad travellers.
A group of naysayers.
Rotten boat.
We've got another 9 hours of this.
I think it's wonderful.
Hey, is it sinking?
Great food
People watching.
Dogs!
So many nationalities.
Tents!
Staggering from side to side.
Red staircases.
Endless horizon.
TV in Greek.
The list is endless.

Funniest thing I've seen so far...
Dog pooping on the upper promenade ... Man concensiously picking it up in a black plastic bag ... And then flinging the bag out over the side .... Only to have it blown right back at him and split open at his feet.
Hahaha.
AND, I laughed out loud.i
AND, took their picture.

So I left that small group to their musings and went people watching up at the top bar. There are several little children on board and the mothers, sensibly, have them on leads.

Then, I joined the other 80% of the group who are having fun on the boat.

It's great. I love it.

OK... After the first porthole shot, I had to go back for more.

Two things on that...
After 19 days, I keep forgetting him and Trish has to remind me...(hard to believe, I know)
2nd... She hasn't grasped the Time Lord thing... I've resigned myself to the 'little man' label.
