...I drive out to the Portuguese border and take the last seat on a leisure boat trip on the Douro river amid breathtaking canyon scenery - it's hot and loud with people but the views are majestic
...on the way back to Salamanca I pass a Museum of Concrete in a little village. No, I do not visit.
...I book the last decent priced hotel but this time it's by the freeway. My hotel from last night had tripled its nightly rate for Easter Friday unfortunately :/
...I eat delicious tapas w/sangria while listening to bugles, accordions and trumpets of the Via Crucis procession in the historic area and watching parade members dressed in pink KKK-like outfits. WTF??!!
...I love how waiters mix drinks right at your table and don't pester you to pay right after ordering like they do in Belgium when you sit outside
...I eat and drink like a pig and the damage us €13, I don't ever wanna leave.
