...we rise early, do some minor shopping (well I buy some clothes :)) and set out for Joshua Tree, the first park on our itinerary.
...we pass one giant mall after another, which is nice when you wanna shop but becomes annoying when all you need to do is pull over for a quick caffeine shot - it always turns into a 30
minute navigation adventure titled: "Find the Starbucks in a roadside shopping town the size of Bruges".
...we become lazy: mostly drive everywhere and use drive thru restaurants. You will not recognize us when we get back. Hell we probably won't recognize us. In the mirror. Ugh...
...we reach Joshua Tree but suddenly a heavy rain starts - so much for our hike... - so we keep driving.

...we reach the Grand Canyon after another 6hours of dull driving at night on a small empty county road...Snow!!!! Coldddd!!!! Wow! Around 0 degrees..
...we check into our cozy hotel, reset our watches to Arizona time (-1h) and go to sleep. The room is awesome.
