Well back in Townsville now and the weather is back to clear blue skies. Had a nice day walking along the Strand and sitting by the rock pool. The hostel we are staying in here is so nice, probably one of the best so far. Have to move on again tomorrow, we are not used to moving so quickly!

Well we've spent the past two days exploring Townsville, it's actually really nice! It's not a town you really hear about apart from the use of the airport but it's really clean and tidy and the weather is great. It feels a lot hotter here than in Cairns, much more humid. Had a walk along the Strand which runs along the beach, it was excellent. Head off to Magnetic Island tomorrow which looks lovely, hope the weather stays nice.
