Well we caught our bus at 7.30am to Wanaka, we are going to find it so hard going back to work and getting up early again! We stopped not far out of Franz Josef so we could do a walk around a lake where on a sunny day you can get an excellent view of Mt Cook reflecting in the water, however as it was so early the sun had'nt really come through so pictures weren't so good. We arrived in Wanaka at about 4pm so we had a quick wonder around. Its a really nice little town, shame we hadn't decided to stay here longer. We stayed in a hotel this evening instead of a hostel as kiwi experience get a special rate.
