Early start this morning boarded the bus at 8am heading towards the village of Whistler. A morning cuppa at Lillooet we travelled through rolling hill dropping down through Kamloops before following an old logging route with steep drop off's and sheer cliff faces.

Johnathon dropped us off at the Cultural centre for a 1st nations historical visit and a fantastic talk from the bear man.

Again, we have a very comfortable room overlooking the Whistler and we had a meal at the Wild Flower restaurant.

Breaky was also served at the Wild Flower and it was the best selection yet of buffet choices.

Reino chose to do the helicopter scenic flight up to the Rainbow Glacier and paid a bit extra to land up on the Glacier. He really enjoyed his flight but got some ribbing for his choice of clothing for the outing.

I chose to go to the Scandinave Spa, I was taken by curtesy car from the hotel and dropped off and when finished they came and picked me up. It was a very peaceful location and you could spend as long as you wanted to dip into the plunge pools or relaxing in the sauna, solarium or just soak up the sun on the many lounges dotted around the pools. I chose to upgrade my visit with a relaxation massage very indulgent but a wonderful experience. What was left of the afternoon was spent strolling down through the village square and a quiet dinner of ribs at the restaurant located just near the hotel.
