Woke to a freezing morning with the mountains receiving a light top up of snow. Had breakfast in the very quaint breakfast room with a beautiful view out the window. Called in to the local tourist information centre to see if there was any chance of traveling through the south entrance of Yellowstone as we had thought of going up to Canada rather than out East to Indiana. Woke this morning to our first overcast day in Las Vegas, a few sprinkles of rain but not enough to wet the ground. Called into Pawn Stars shop on LV Blvd in Downtown, had a quick look around the shop before they closed for filming, didn't get to see Grandpa, Rick, Big Hoss or Chum-lee. Called into McDonalds up the street to catch up on email and check whether Collingwood had won the Anzac Day clash, don't think we could have watched it, as see they only won by 1...

Awake early and down to the pool by 8:00am so had it all to ourselves. Checked out of Las Vegas Hotel & Casino around 11. Off to park at the miracle mile shops at Planet Hollywood. At a weak moment we fell into the promise of cheap show tickets and dinner at a timeshare experience which was offered....... After another Shake & Steak burger and watching the players in the casino last night, we woke refreshed this morning ready for a swim in the South Point Lagoon Pool. Checked out of South Point and went to organize documents for our import approval at the local office depot store. Couldn't pass the Krispy Creme Donut store without going in and seeing them make fresh donuts ; yum, what a difference in price to home, 1 dozen mixed donuts $9.70 (over $25 at home)...

Decided to travel to Vegas today to take a look at a couple of cars, one out in the desert just outside Barstow the other in Las Vegas itself. Beautiful spring day warm and not a breathe of wind just what we expected it to be , the rain and snow was just a teaser!!
