Melbourne to Las Vegas

Hit the ground running in LA through customs by 9am oand on the bus to Hertz to pickup the Mustang hire car we had organised for our big road trip. Found our name on the hertz gold members board and proceeded to bay 328 to find a Mercedes SUV, what a total disappointment. After a bit of a sleep in we hit the pool deck for a couple of hours before checking out, then moved onto the tropical setting at South Point our destination for tonight. Lazed around by the pool all day swimming and relaxing with the temperature hovering between 100 - 110F. Woke this morning to our first overcast day in Las Vegas, a few sprinkles of rain but not enough to wet the ground. Called into Pawn Stars shop on LV Blvd in Downtown, had a quick look around the shop before they closed for filming, didn't get to see Grandpa, Rick, Big Hoss or Chum-lee. Awake early and down to the pool by 8:00am so had it all to ourselves. Checked out of Las Vegas Hotel & Casino around 11. Off to park at the miracle mile shops at Planet Hollywood.
