WE have spent the last 5 days relaxing at the beach at Puerta Vallarta. We have stayed at the amazing Westin hotel resort on the beach front. 5 star luxury of course! It has 4 huge pools including places to lay and keep cool while sunbathing. It also has a cool bar, Nikki beach, which has beds on the beach for you to chill out on while listening to tunes. Merida was our next stop after Mexico City. We made it safe and sound after the plane had to be fixed on the runway prior to take off and then the engine cut out when we landed! Tuesday we headed to Teotihuacan, heart of aztec empire, a hge ancient city with 2 massive pyramids. It was a bizarre place and hard to imagine what it once was like, or how on earth thry built it all. After 2 awful AA flights we arrived in Mexico. One of our flights was cancelled. We are back at James & Emmas house in Upland, which is 40 miles from downtown LA. We have largely been relaxing and enjoying the california sunshine.
