Arrived in LA on Saturday to stay with our friends james & emma who live out here. It was great to meet up with some familar faces and Craig to have a beer buddy. Arrived back in Vancouver to torrential rain, tahnkfully we took all the photos before we left. Had a drive around Stanley park. Friday we went to vancouver acquarium, where we saw some lots of tropical fish that Craig had swam with in the maldives. Also lots of scary creatures from the depths of the amazon. From calgary we drove back to the Rockies driving through Yoho Nat Park. Here we stopped off at the amazing Emerald lake, this was so beautiful, esp with the reflection of the mountains on the water. Also saw the natural bridge, where rocks have formed a bridge across the blue glacier river. Calgary is probably the only disappoinment of our Rockies trip, not a lot to see or do. We arrived on Sunday and went for a walk around downtown, and went up Calgary tower. You can't see from the photos due to the clouds but from up the tower you can see all the way back to the Rockies Mountains. On route stopped at the Edith Cavel Mountain, which was a real surprise, noone mentioned it but decided to stop and it was one of the highlights of trip so far.
