I had experienced the midnight treat of having to find a 'discreet' spot to use the bathroom in the pitch black, half asleep, without my contacts in, stumbling down some rocks towards the lake whilst trying not to make a noise... not dodgey at all! I was only too glad when the public toilets re-opened at 8am!

After breakfast we made our way back to the library to use their computers and wifi so we could get the grips with what we were actually doing next. I had a list as long as my arm to make our way through. It's amazing how much stuff can build up when you don't have access to wifi during the day, how ever did we use to manage?!

We booked our flights from Fiji to Manila in the Philippines for a 3 week explore of the islands there. We also decided where we were going to visit and what to do etc. Although I've already been, I only went to one part and I worked there for two weeks so I wanted to see what else it had to offer...apparently lots! The next destination on our agenda was Vietnam. Fingers crossed we can make our money stretch far enough! We would love to see Cambodia too while we're here but New Zealand has cost twice what we budgeted so we would have to look at this some more later.

That evening, we stopped off for a cheeky Maccy D's (we seriously need to stop eating these) and drove onto Whangarei where we found yet another free camping spot for the night. This would be our 10th free night... reigning in those pennies!
