Day 10: Disneyland Part 3 - Return of (Josh) the Jedi!
Today we headed back to Disneyland one last time to complete some unfinished business and revisit the favourites of days 1 & 2.
The highlight of the day without a doubt was the Jedi Training Show. First time round, Josh was happy just to be a spectator. This time though he wanted to be part of the action, so up the front he sat.
Not only was he luckily enough to be one of the 20 kids picked out of the crowd, but he ended up being placed centre stage next to the instructor. Some lessons with a lightsaber ensued before a one-on-one battle with Darth Vader finished the show (we have video of the duel!).
Although he had official certification in hand, unfortunately Josh seemed to lose all Jedi powers after the show - so despite his best efforts, a wave of his hand didn't result in any staff letting us jump queues for the rest of the day.
Still, we managed to tick off everything we wanted to see and do.
We finished our Disneyland experience by taking in the night parade from a prime possie in Main St.
It capped off a busy but memorable week here in Anaheim. It'll be sad to leave here tomorrow, but we're looking forward to the next leg of our adventure none the less. As Josh has said numerous times:
"We're goin to Vegas baby!!!"
