Driver arrived early at 7.50 am, amazing trip round the M25, at Heathrow very early,, check in went smoothly. Breakfast in Weatherspoons, croissant and marmalade! Joan did some duty free shopping. Plane took off and landed on schedule, also right on cue the rain started! 2 hour drive to the hotel, rain stopped. Hotel excellent, good view (picture to follow) but no tea making facilities, we forgot our kettle.Everything as expensive as expected, tea for two in the hotel £15!!!!!! Had a set meal , not bad , and so to bed, very comfortable.
