After a relaxing breakfast we caught the local bus to the far end of Davos, which is a long narrow town about 1.5 miles from end to end. The weather was sunny, warm very agreeable and went up the Rinehorn on the cable car. We spent some time at the top as there was a not too strenuous walk through fields of wildflowers. Another day, another tour, this time by coach but at a very leisurely pace. We didn't start until 9.30 and our first stop was Vaduz, the capital of Lichtenstein. Here we spent a pleasant hour mainly sitting drinking coffee at pavement cafe, but we did have time to see the Prnces castle. We then passed through Austria before entering Germany where we moved on to Lindau which is a town and an island in the Bodensee (Lake Constance). The weather was still pleasantly...

We had an early start after breakfast, going by coach to Filisur in order to catch "The Glacier Express" This, like "The Benina Express" is a slow moving express through spectacular scenery, this time through the Rhine valley. For the last part they had to change the engine as the track was run by a different company and was a rack and pinion affair. This took us to where we had lunch. The rest of yesterday's story will have to wait till we get home when we will bore with lots of pictures of lots of mountains. Today started off yet again with a train journey on a local train, using our free pass, to Klosters. On arrival we had our usual coffee before taking a gentle 3mile stroll along the river. After breakfast we headed to the train station where we boarded the Benina Express which took us from Davos in the north of the country, way down south in to Italy. We were late back so will continue this story tomorrow which is a rest day!!!
