Euro 2011
On our way north, we made a day stop in Interlaken, Switzerland. This small town of 5,300 is nestled between two lakes with mountains all around, including Mount Jungfrau, Europe's highest point. The town provides every adrenaline-loaded adventure possible from white water rafting to skydiving to zorbing (rolling down a hill in a giant plastic ball).
We strolled around the town, walking along the glacier river, looking at all the chalets. We stopped in some shops and of course had some delicious Swiss chocolate.
This was the perfect day stop. The town was quiet and the scenery is absolutely gorgeous!
Headed to Munich!
Adieu,
R & B
