The days spent in Barcelona were once again, busy! We arrived to our hostel and immediately walked down to the Barcelona FC stadium. The stadium is huge and seats 98,000! The next morning we walked down La Ramblas street which hosts a variety of markets within the boulevard. Yesterday we took a bus to Combarro which is 20 mins from Pontevedra. Here in Combarro (pop. 1300) there are these horreos (Oreos) which are little storage sheds above the ocean on stilts for the fisherman to keep their bounty in and vermin away. It was a busy day as we wound up the visit and leave for Lisbon this morning with a stop in Porto. Ciao, B & R

Quick update. After another 12 hour train ride we got into Vigo last night (July 9th) and met Andrea at the train station. She brought us back to Pontevedra where we had a great local meal full of seafood and drinks. We are off to Santiago today. Ciao.

Bang! The first firecracker goes off letting you know the first bull was released. Bang! 15 seconds later the second firecracker is lit to let you know all the bulls are in the street. Yes, we ran with the bulls. There were 6 bulls and 8 steers with the bulls weighing in over 550kg each.
