Buon giorno!

We forgot to mention the day we arrived in Rome we met my cousin, Jordan, and his girlfriend Andrea and then toured with them the next couple of days.

Day two began with a ride on the metro to the Colosseum. As soon as we took our first step out of the metro station, there it was right in front of our eyes. Luckily we bought skip the line passes, as the line was about 2 hrs long. We toured inside the massive structure and listened to an audio tour, as well as the English speaking guides we passed along the way.

After touring the Colosseum, we went over to Palatine Hill. Walking by the Circus Maximus, where the chariot races took place with over 300 000 people could attend From there we walked to the Roman Forum which played host to Many of Rome's political, religious and judicial buildings.

From there we saw a variety of monuments and finished off with a visit to the Cathedral of St. Ignazio. It was incredible to see because all the paintings were done in 3D.

We completed our visit Rome by seeing the fountain of Trevi at night. The pasta was delicious and the pizza was abundant. Rome is a definite must see city in Italy.
