Yasas!
We arrived in Athens on the 26th after a long train (4 hrs), ferry (15 hrs), and bus (4 hrs) ride.
In the last 12 hours we were able to take in the Acropolis, Temple of Zeus, Hadrian's Arch, Ancient Agora (origin of democracy), Roman Agora, and Theatre of Dionysos. The Acropolis continues to be restored, but the fact it has been there since roughly 450 BC is truly amazing.
Later today we will take the ferry to the island of Thira (Santorini). Where we are taking a 5 day holiday from our holiday. We plan on doing nothing but relaxing on the black sand beaches of Perissa.
